Slit lamp microscope is an ophthalmologic optical instrument used to check preocular and
intraocular based on the principle of optical magnification. Making use of the tidy optical slice
projected from the slit lamp, the instrument can be used to make accurate examination on the
pathological changes, such as cornea, eyelid, front chambers, sclera, iris, crystalline lens and retina.
It finds wide applications when fitted with other accessories.

602797 Slit Lamp Microscope adopts low-positioned light source for the illumination of
microscope. It’s featured for compact structure and easy operation. The microscope adopts infinite
microscopic principle (i.e. the left and right optical paths are parallel), which provides the possibility
of extending the function of the instrument.

Brief introduction of the function of parts:

1. Eyepiece: 2 pairs: 12.5X & 20X  (one of each pair wit reticule).
2. Eyepiece seat: Interpupillary distance adjusting range: 55~75mm. Eyepiece diopter: ±5D.
3. 3-step magnification change system: 10X, 16X and 25X (when 12.5X eyepieces are fitted on the microscope); 16X, 25X and 40X (when 20X eyepieces are fitted on the microscope).
4. Turnplate for filter selection: Green and cobalt blue, ND(28%)
5. Turnplate for illuminated light spot change: 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 10mm and 14mm
6. Control handwheel for horizontal and vertical movement: it controls the instruments to move quickly and smoothly in horizontal direction and offers fine adjustment and focusing in vertical direction.
7. Sliding plate: For back and forth, left and right, up and down movement of the instrument.                      Left and Right movement: 110mm; back and forth movement: 100mm; up and down movement: 30mm; horizontal fine adjustment: 14mm
8. Handwheel for slit inclination: It provides continous inclination of the slit from 0°to 20° .
9. Slit swing lever: It makes the slit swing off the axis  ±6°.
10. Handwheel for slit width controlling: The width of the slit can be controlled and adjusted continously from 0 to 14mm.
11. Handwheel for slit rotation: It makes the slit rotate 360°steplessly.
12. Bulb cover: The bulb can be replaced here. The bulb is a 12V30W halogen bulb.
13. Fixation lamp: The universal light spot consists of LED and 3-step joint. It is used for patient fixation.
14. Bracket: It is used to hold the head of the patient and the hand of the doctor. It is adjustable.
15. Power box: It provides power for the slit lamp and the fixation lamp. The luminosity of the lamps is adjustable.
16. Motorized stand: Table: 640X445mm; up and down movement: from 630mm to 820mm.
