The laser therapy instrument uses yttrium alumnium garnet crystal doped with neodymium (Nd:YAG) as working material, and makes use of advanced Q-switch and the frequency upper-trnsformation technology. The opto-electronic Q-switch is similar to a high-speed gate which can release the laser energy within an extremely short time interval( ≈10 nano-seconds), and form a so-called huge pulse with very high power density.
